Inspired by the world’s great philanthropists, the likes of Bono, Geldof and Mike Welch, Keith and Nicole decided to donate their meagre wealth to those less fortunate than themselves by spending it on travel through nations suffering the worst effects of the Global Financial Crisis. Many third world economies, such as Kenya, Tanzania and Great Britain, are suffering from a marked downturn in tourist numbers and it gives us a great sense of pride to know that we are doing our bit to take advantage of the cheaper prices to ensure our money gets to the greatest possible number of people. In keeping with the philosophy of many leading charitable organisations, we will be providing assistance through the support of sustainable businesses, rather than providing short-term cash handouts. Should you wish to donate to this wonderful, heart warming cause we will be happy to pass on your donation to Argentine vineyard owners, Brazilian fishing guides or, upon special request, to African wildlife management through big game trophy fees (this last category only available for donations over US$20,000). So come on, through Travel-Aid you CAN make a difference.

I am more than happy to make a payment of a full $1!
ReplyDeletePlease send me bank account details so that i can help you accomplish your dreams
Thank-you Susan. Every dollar can make a difference, but $1000 makes 1000 times the difference. After all, do you need that new lounge suite more than a Zambian farmer needs to feed his family?
ReplyDeleteI thought these days hard working farmers in Africa need more appropriate things like 10ft high electric fences, and mine fields sporadically positioned outside the perimeters of their abode?
